According to instructions of the Greek Authorities the boarding of passengers on ships from the ports of mainland Greece to the islands is permitted if passengers:
- Have a vaccination certificate or
- Have negative result of PCR test method performed by taking an oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear within the last seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled travel time either on Rapid test or on a Self-Test within twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled travel time. The negative diagnosis of PCR testing and rapid test is demonstrated by a certificate, while the corresponding self-test diagnosis is demonstrated either by the relevant certificate on page https://self-testing.gov.gr/or by the relevant demonstration in the Health Statement Questionnaire before boarding or
- Demonstrating a certificate of disease valid for a period from two (2) to nine (9) months after the disease.
The obligation to do PCR, Rapid Test or Self Test if there is no Certificate of Vaccination or Certificate of Disease applies to passengers over 5 years of age and only to departures from ports of mainland Greece to the islands.
All passengers must complete the Passenger Pre-Boarding form when travelling from mainland Greek ports to the islands and vice-versa.
